The Jewish community at Cornell mourns deeply for those who were murdered in Jersey City, NJ. A hail of bullets targeted three locations including a kosher grocery store associated with Jersey City's local Hasidic community as well as other community institutions. Media reports indicate that this was an anti-Semitic attack and the Jewish community was targeted. The victims include members of the Jewish community, bystanders, and a first responder.
May their families find comfort and consolation amidst the mourning.
